Summary

The presentation evaluates compliance with NICE guidelines regarding structural imaging scans for dementia patients at the Memory Assessment and Treatment Service (MATS). It analyses data from 177 patients referred between June and August 2024, comparing demographics, scan history, and cognitive scores. Key findings indicate significant differences in scanning protocols between male and female patients, highlighting the importance of diagnostic testing for effective management. Future steps include expanding the study to NHS Fife.
