Summary

The presentation explores the extent of peer teaching within Edinburgh Medical School, aiming to quantify its occurrence, assess feedback collection, and evaluate staff involvement. A survey was distributed to 49 medical societies and SSC5 groups, with a response rate of 57%. Key findings indicate that 57% of societies engaged in peer teaching during the 24/25 academic year, with over 200 peer teachers and 150 sessions conducted. Notably, most sessions had limited staff involvement, although feedback was collected in the majority of cases.
