Summary

The presentation examines the prevalence and patterns of multimorbidity in adults diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, highlighting significant socioeconomic inequalities. It aims to characterise multimorbidity and its association with sociodemographic factors, using data from the CPRD Aurum database. Key findings indicate that 83.1% of patients had at least two long-term conditions, with greater deprivation linked to a higher burden of multimorbidity. The study underscores the need for further research into how deprivation affects outcomes in pancreatic cancer patients.
